A
living history walking tour, presented on the grounds of ‘Iolani Palace, retraced
four pivotal days leading up to and including the overthrow of the Hawaiian
Monarchy. In the walking tour, costumed
role-players situated at seven stations around the palace grounds, and on the steps
of Iolani Palace, interpreted the significant events and sites surrounding the
1893 overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom through a dramatic narrative.

The script for this special presentation was written by local
novelist and screenplay author Victoria Nalani Kneubuhl, a founding member of
Sisters in Crime/Hawaii.
